“Contrasted with the material wealth of the town, the spiritual poverty of the people living here is appalling,” the writer continued.

Donation Thank YouThe Voice of the Church (VOC), an FM radio station founded in 1994 by TWR, celebrated 20 years of broadcasting on Saturday, 26 September at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini. Close to 2,000 people attended the ceremony. VOC is the National Partner of Trans World Radio (TWR)  in Swaziland.

The celebration made headlines in The Sunday Times of Swaziland as a Swazi-born billionaire pledged a E10,000,000 (approximately $720,000) donation for further development. The businessman (who now lives in Botswana) hearing the needs from the VOC National Director in August requested a budget. He presented this E10 million budget to companies in which he is a shareholder and explained the importance of VOC’s ministry in Swaziland.
