The God Who Sees Me

Posted in OLD The Archive

"El Roi," said Hagar - He is the God who sees me. God had listened to her affliction, and in the midst of it He provided her with a son. "Truly here I have seen Him who looks after me."1

Yes, God sees the suffering, He sees the needy. No one goes unnoticed, including little children in Zimbabwe. They are in the cross hairs of His mighty gaze, just like you. He is El Roi!

God has given TWR a wonderful opportunity to reach these children through radio drama programmes. Children listen to stories. Children tell stories. So why not use stories to introduce little children to Immanuel, the God who is with us?

TWR-Zimbabwe is expecting 300 little ones to gather in Harare soon. On this day, they will sing and they will play and they will get to know Jesus. They may be little, but they're not insignificant. Not to El Roi and not to us, His children.

The entire community will be introduced to the radio drama programme and will be encouraged to start "Project Samuel Clubs" in their own local churches. At these clubs children will gather to dig deeper into the light and heat (the truth and passion) of Scripture and draw closer to Jesus.

We can't wait for it to happen - all those happy faces, all those little agents of transformation! Proverbs 27:1 says, "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring." So please pray for the success of this tremendous event and the days to follow as children hear the programmes.
