I have listened to TWR programs since 1978, when your programs were aired only on shortwave (my favorite). My consistency in listening is limited by my profession as a sailor.
In short, I am a believer, and I like programs with spiritual content, but I am still not quite satisfied with my knowledge and understanding.
The more I discover and understand the Bible, the more questions and insecurities I have. Often I feel even a disbelief regarding many logical discrepancies that occur in my Bible studies. I do not belong to any religious community or church, and I do not have problems with my family tradition either.
My first Bible was the one I received from TWR in Monte Carlo in 1978, and since then, I often listen to the “waves” of your programs. I still believe that God will help me realize the truth completely. Until then, I try to live by the measure of a believing people: righteousness, truth-loving, and tolerance.
I would describe the style of my life with this wonderful passage from Proverbs 30:7-8: ‘Two things I ask from you; deny them not to me before I die: remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me…”
I hope that your programs continue to be lighthouses of hope and encouragement for all and also for me. I greet you cordially and hope that God’s blessing fills our hearts with hope and faith, which are so much needful in this “tired” world we live in!
